WDVR Seeks Events Coordinator Volunteer!

Do you have a finger on the pulse of the community? Are you passionate about local events and activities?

WDVR, your local community radio station, is seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our team! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help us spread the word about happenings in our area.

Responsibilities:

• Research and discover upcoming community events, activities, and initiatives.

• Craft concise and engaging announcements suitable for radio broadcast.

• Ensure accuracy and clarity in all information presented.

• Submit completed copy to the station webmaster for website publication.

• Work collaboratively with the WDVR team to promote local events.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in community events and a desire to support local initiatives.

• Excellent written and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Detail-oriented and organized.

• Familiarity with basic online research tools.
