WDVR’s format offers a uniquely wide range of music for almost every taste; including Classic Country, Bluegrass, 50’s Doo Wop, Light Rock, Light Jazz, Big Band, Celtic and Polka. International, National and Local News is aired every hour on the hour. Informational programs, thoroughly cover educational, medical, scientific and important local, community issues on a weekly basis.

WDVR is the only station in the entire North East which airs a weekly two-hour, live Traditional Country Music show, before a live audience, every Saturday Night from 6pm to 8pm the Heartlands Hayride.

The Heartlands Hayride (ala: Grand Ole Opry) showcases local and national Professional and Amateur Country, Bluegrass singers and groups; giving them, rare and valuable broadcast and world-wide internet exposure.
